Product Description

Overview

The TOXU TX-G039 is a multi-constellation, multi-frequency active GNSS aviation antenna designed for professional navigation, positioning, and timing equipment.

It supports compatible GPS L1/L2/L5, BDS B1/B2/B3, GLONASS G1/G2/G3, Galileo E1/E5a/E5b, and L-Band signals. It can be integrated with a suitable multi-band GNSS or RTK receiver for aviation equipment, UAVs, precision agriculture, vehicle positioning, mobile mapping, and other professional navigation systems.

The antenna uses a dual-feed, dual-stacked patch architecture with right-hand circular polarization. Its specified peak antenna gain is at least 4.0dBi at the center frequency when tested with a 100mm ground plane.

The integrated low-noise amplifier provides a specified gain of 38±3dB at 25°C. The noise figure is specified as no more than 2.0dB at 25°C, and the output VSWR is no more than 1.5:1 under the specified test conditions.

The active circuit operates from 3.0V to 16V DC and consumes less than 45mA. A compatible GNSS receiver or external bias-tee normally supplies antenna bias power through the RF connection.

The TX-G039 has a nominal 50-ohm impedance and uses a TNC female connector. Compatible equipment should therefore use a TNC male mating connector and a suitable 50-ohm coaxial cable assembly.

The antenna measures 119.38 × 76.2 × 27.0mm and weighs approximately 185g. Its ABS+PC radome, aluminum-alloy 6061-T6 base, and four-screw-hole structure provide a secure mechanical interface for compatible equipment.

The specification lists expected IP67 protection, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, 15kV air-discharge ESD protection, vibration resistance, and shock resistance for demanding environmental conditions.

The TX-G039 is an active GNSS antenna only. It receives and amplifies compatible satellite signals but does not independently calculate position, generate RTK corrections, process correction data, or provide navigation output.

System Integration

The TX-G039 must be connected to a compatible multi-band GNSS or RTK receiver supporting the required GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, and L-Band signals.

The active antenna requires 3.0–16V DC bias power and consumes less than 45mA. Bias power is normally supplied through the RF cable by the connected receiver or a compatible external bias-tee circuit.

Before connection, confirm the receiver’s supported constellations and frequency bands, antenna-bias voltage, available current, 50-ohm input impedance, active-antenna detection, and short-circuit protection.

The standard TX-G039 uses a TNC female connector. The mating cable assembly should therefore use a compatible TNC male connector and suitable 50-ohm coaxial cable.

Install the antenna with the radome facing the sky. Confirm the mounting-hole positions, mechanical clearance, fasteners, equipment-surface strength, and sealing method against the approved dimension drawing before installation.

For optimum satellite reception, provide the clearest practical sky view and keep the antenna away from large metal obstructions, transmitting antennas, motors, switching power supplies, high-current cables, and other potential sources of signal blockage, reflection, or electromagnetic interference.

The product specification lists expected IP67 protection. The mating connector, mounting holes, equipment opening, cable interface, and complete installation must also be correctly sealed before outdoor use.

For RTK operation, the connected receiver must support RTK processing and receive valid correction data from a base station, NTRIP service, radio modem, cellular modem, L-Band service, or another compatible correction source.

L-Band service availability, frequency compatibility, subscription requirements, correction coverage, and receiver support must be confirmed separately for the intended project.
