The TOXU KC.WX.00045 is a compact 2-in-1 vehicle combination antenna integrating an active GPS antenna and a 4G LTE antenna in one adhesive-mount housing. It supports 1560-1580MHz for GPS positioning and 824-960MHz / 1710-2690MHz for compatible cellular communication equipment.

Overview


The TOXU KC.WX.00045 is a compact 2-in-1 combination antenna integrating active GPS positioning and 4G LTE cellular communication functions in one housing.

The GPS antenna operates from 1560-1580MHz and integrates a low-noise amplifier providing 28 +/- 2dB active gain. It requires a compatible 3-5V DC bias voltage supplied through the GPS RF port.

The cellular antenna covers 824-960MHz and 1710-2690MHz for integration with compatible 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE vehicle terminals, telematics devices, tracking equipment, and industrial communication systems.

The two antenna functions use independent black RG174 coaxial cables. The GPS cable is terminated with a blue C Coding FAKRA connector, while the 4G LTE cable uses a purple D Coding FAKRA connector.

The housing measures approximately 60 x 51 x 17.6mm and uses 3M foam adhesive tape for installation. The standard finished cable length is 2000 +/- 30mm.

System Integration


The KC.WX.00045 provides two independent RF connections. The blue C Coding FAKRA connector should be connected to the compatible GPS port, while the purple D Coding FAKRA connector should be connected to the cellular RF port.

The GPS port must provide a compatible 3-5V DC bias voltage through the coaxial cable to power the integrated low-noise amplifier.

The cellular section covers 824-960MHz and 1710-2690MHz. It should not be selected for equipment requiring LTE bands below 824MHz unless a customized version is separately designed and verified.

The blue and purple FAKRA connectors use different mechanical coding. Connector color and coding must be checked against the equipment-side interfaces before production.

The adhesive mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, and free from oil or dust. The installation position should be evaluated inside the final equipment because nearby metal parts, electronic modules, and cable routing can affect RF performance.

The two RG174 cables should be routed without excessive bending, pulling, crushing, or placement close to strong interference sources.
