Product Description

Overview

The TOXU TX-G051 is a compact multi-band active GNSS quadrifilar helical antenna developed for UAVs, GNSS receivers, RTK equipment, mobile mapping systems, autonomous devices, and other satellite-positioning applications.

The antenna covers two specified working frequency ranges: 1154–1300MHz and 1525–1621MHz. It supports compatible GPS L1/L2, GLONASS L1/L2, BDS B1/B2/B3, and Galileo E1/E2/E5a/E5b satellite-navigation signals.

Its quadrifilar helical architecture and right-hand circular polarization are designed for receiving compatible circularly polarized GNSS signals. Compared with a conventional flat patch structure, the compact helical form is suitable for equipment requiring a narrow antenna profile and flexible installation orientation.

The TX-G051 incorporates an active circuit with a specified LNA gain of 32±3dB at 25°C. Its typical noise figure is no more than 1.5dB, helping amplify received satellite signals before transmitting them to the connected GNSS receiver.

The product has a nominal impedance of 50 ohms and uses an SMA male connector for direct connection to a compatible SMA female receiver port. Its specified operating voltage range is 3.0–12V DC, with operating current of no more than 30mA.

The antenna measures approximately Φ27.5 × 105.6mm and weighs no more than 35g. Its compact ABS+PC housing is rated IP67 and supports compatible outdoor and mobile-equipment installations.

The TX-G051 is an active receiving antenna only. It does not independently calculate coordinates, process RTK correction data, or determine positioning accuracy. These functions are performed by the connected GNSS or RTK receiver.

System Integration

The TX-G051 must be connected to a compatible GNSS or RTK receiver supporting the required frequency bands and satellite signals.

Because the TX-G051 is an active antenna, the connected receiver must supply compatible DC bias power through the RF port. The receiver should support the specified 3.0–12V DC operating range and provide the required current.

The standard antenna uses an SMA male connector. The receiver or RF cable assembly should therefore provide a compatible SMA female 50-ohm interface with sufficient mechanical clearance.

Before integration, confirm the receiver’s supported GNSS bands, antenna-bias voltage, available current, RF input impedance, connector type, connector orientation, and mechanical installation space.

Install the antenna where it has the clearest practical sky view. Keep it away from large metal obstructions, transmitting antennas, motors, switching power supplies, high-current cables, and other potential sources of signal blockage or electromagnetic interference.

Final performance can be affected by the receiver, installation orientation, surrounding materials, equipment housing, nearby electronics, power-supply quality, and operating environment. Sample testing in the actual equipment is recommended before volume production.

Although the enclosure is specified as IP67, the connector and complete equipment interface must also be correctly installed and sealed for outdoor use.

For RTK operation, the connected receiver must support RTK processing and receive valid correction data from an NTRIP service, base station, radio modem, cellular modem, or another compatible correction source.
