Product Description

Overview

The TOXU KS.WX0043 is a dual-antenna RTK GNSS receiver designed for professional positioning and heading-output applications in UAVs, robotics, autonomous vehicles and other precision navigation systems.

The receiver is built around the Septentrio mosaic-H multi-frequency GNSS module and is designed for projects evaluating compatibility with Holybro H-RTK mosaic-H system configurations.

With two GNSS antenna inputs, the KS.WX0043 uses moving-baseline carrier-phase measurements to calculate heading directly from satellite signals. This provides a reliable heading source without depending exclusively on a conventional magnetic compass.

GNSS-based heading helps reduce heading errors caused by vehicle motors, electrical systems, metal structures, power cables and other sources of magnetic interference.

The Septentrio mosaic-H platform supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS signals across multiple frequency bands. It combines centimeter-level RTK positioning with sub-degree heading and attitude measurement.

The KS.WX0043 supports USB and UART communication for integration with compatible flight controllers, embedded computers and robotic control systems. The standard receiver operates from a 5 V DC power supply.

TOXU provides flexible receiver, antenna, RF cable, signal cable and accessory configurations, allowing customers to select the hardware required for their application and improve overall project cost control.

LOCK+ Robust Satellite Tracking

LOCK+ supports stable satellite tracking during vibration, shock and rapid antenna movement in high-dynamic UAV and robotic applications.

APME+ Multipath Mitigation

APME+ helps reduce positioning errors caused by GNSS signals reflected from nearby buildings, vehicles and metal structures.

IONO+ Ionospheric Protection

IONO+ helps maintain GNSS and RTK performance in regions affected by increased ionospheric activity.

RAIM+ Integrity Monitoring

RAIM+ monitors GNSS observations and positioning consistency to help identify and exclude unreliable measurements.

High-Rate RTK and Attitude Output

Supports RTK position and attitude output rates of up to 20 Hz, standalone and differential positioning with attitude up to 50 Hz, and measurement output up to 100 Hz.

Multiple Operating Modes

Supports rover, moving-baseline rover, base-station and PPK application configurations.

USB and UART Communication

Provides USB and UART interfaces for receiver configuration, correction-data input and navigation-data output.

Holybro H-RTK System Compatibility

System Integration

The KS.WX0043 uses two external GNSS antennas to provide RTK position and moving-baseline heading information.

A typical dual-antenna system connection is:

Primary GNSS Antenna + Secondary GNSS Antenna → KS.WX0043 Septentrio mosaic-H Receiver → USB/UART → Flight Controller or Embedded Computer → Navigation System

The two antennas must be securely installed with a known baseline distance and orientation. Heading accuracy depends on antenna separation, antenna alignment, satellite visibility, multipath conditions and receiver configuration.

For RTK operation, correction data must be supplied through a compatible base station, NTRIP service or communication link.

A typical RTK correction-data path is:

RTK Base Station or NTRIP Service → Data Link → KS.WX0043 → RTK Position and Heading Output

Compatibility with PX4, ArduPilot or another host platform should be confirmed according to the selected interface, connector pinout, firmware version and communication protocol.

For projects currently using a Holybro H-RTK mosaic-H configuration, TOXU recommends verifying the interface definition, firmware settings, antenna baseline, mounting dimensions and cable configuration before replacement testing.
