The TOXU TX-G5-RTK01 is an ultra-light multi-frequency RTK GNSS receiver kit based on the Septentrio mosaic-G5 platform. It integrates an RM3100 magnetometer and includes an L1/L2/L5 active quadrifilar helix antenna for UAV, robotics and mobile positioning applications.

Overview


The TOXU TX-G5-RTK01 is an ultra-light RTK GNSS receiver kit built around the Septentrio mosaic-G5 high-precision positioning platform. It combines a multi-frequency GNSS receiver, an RM3100 magnetometer, an external active quadrifilar helix antenna and Pixhawk-compatible connection hardware.

The receiver supports concurrent tracking of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS signals. When supplied with compatible RTCM correction data, it provides centimeter-level RTK positioning for UAVs, robotics and mobile autonomous systems.

Septentrio GNSS+ technologies—including AIM+, IONO+, APME+, LOCK+ and RAIM+—improve receiver reliability in environments affected by RF interference, ionospheric disturbances, multipath, mechanical vibration and signal-integrity risks.

The integrated RM3100 magnetometer provides magnetic heading information to compatible navigation systems. The magnetometer is not an IMU, and the TX-G5-RTK01 must not be described as a GNSS/INS receiver.

The standard kit includes one TX-G5-RTK01 receiver, one L1/L2/L5 active quadrifilar helix antenna, one Pixhawk-compatible JST-GH cable, one mounting structure and one antenna extender.

System Integration


The TX-G5-RTK01 is supplied as an assembled receiver kit for integration with compatible UAV flight controllers, robotic controllers and embedded navigation systems.

The JST-GH 6-pin connection cable supports integration with compatible Pixhawk hardware. The exact connector pin definition, voltage, serial settings and flight controller configuration must be verified before connection.

USB Type-C can be used for receiver configuration, monitoring and data communication. The receiver also provides UART, PPS, event and GPIO resources through the mosaic-G5 hardware platform.

Centimeter-level RTK operation requires correction data from a compatible GNSS base station, CORS network or NTRIP service. Accuracy and initialization performance depend on satellite visibility, antenna placement, baseline length, correction quality and operating environment.

The supplied quadrifilar helix antenna should be mounted with a clear view of the sky and separated from high-power transmitters, motors and other potential interference sources.

The RM3100 is a magnetometer that provides magnetic heading information. It does not include a gyroscope or accelerometer and does not make the TX-G5-RTK01 an INS receiver.

This standard kit contains one GNSS antenna. It is therefore a single-antenna positioning kit and must not be described as a dual-antenna GNSS heading receiver.
