Vehicle Combination Antenna

Time:2025-08-14 Views:0

The 4G+GPS/4G+GPS+WIFI active combination antenna is a powerful and integrated solution engineered for vehicle use, merging essential communication and positioning technologies into a single, efficient component. Its design caters to the diverse needs of modern vehicles, ensuring reliable connectivity and precise location tracking across various environments.

A standout attribute is its 28dBi gain, which empowers the antenna to capture and transmit signals robustly. This high gain is particularly valuable in challenging areas like remote countryside, congested city centers with tall buildings, or enclosed spaces such as parking garages, minimizing signal dropouts and maintaining stable connections for both communication and positioning tasks.

With an impedance of 50 ohms, the antenna achieves optimal matching with most vehicle-mounted devices and systems. This balance reduces signal reflection, maximizing the transfer of signal power between the antenna and connected equipment. Such efficiency is vital for applications demanding continuous data flow, such as real-time fleet monitoring or in-vehicle infotainment systems.

Signal quality is reinforced by its standing wave ratio (SWR) specifications. For GNSS ACTIVE, the SWR of 283 indicates effective signal transfer for positioning, while LTE ANERAGE and WIFI/BT both feature an SWR of -2, signifying excellent matching and minimal signal loss. These values translate to clearer 4G calls, faster data speeds, and more reliable WIFI/BT connections, enhancing overall performance.

The antennas frequency coverage is comprehensive. GNSS operates at 1575.421.023MHZ @BD, compatible with the BeiDou system for accurate global positioning. LTE 1 covers 824~960/1710~2690MHZ, ensuring access to 4G networks across diverse regions, supporting high-speed internet for streaming, navigation updates, and cloud-based services.

Polarization types are tailored to their functions: GNSS uses RHCP to align with satellite signals, boosting positioning accuracy, while LTE and WIFI/BT employ LP for efficient terrestrial communication, handling signal reflections in urban or complex landscapes.

Interface flexibility is another key feature, supporting FAKRA and SMA connectors with customization options. This adaptability allows seamless integration with various vehicle systems, from navigation units to telematics devices, simplifying installation and ensuring compatibility.

Built to withstand extreme conditions, the antenna functions reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C for both storage and operation. This durability makes it suitable for vehicles operating in harsh climates, from freezing winters to scorching summers, without compromising performance.

Ideal for personal cars, commercial fleets, and emergency vehicles, this combination antenna delivers consistent connectivity and positioning, meeting the demands of modern mobility and enhancing the overall vehicle experience.
